Dr. Ashlee Mackens, DPM (formerly Ashlee Starr), is a compassionate and skilled podiatric surgeon who emphasizes evidence-based, whole-person care and honest communication. With a background in biological sciences and a passion for diabetic limb preservation, she earned her DPM from Midwestern University and is currently completing her residency at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis. Her clinical interests include diabetic limb salvage, nerve pathology, and advanced surgical techniques. Outside of medicine, she’s a certified master scuba diver who enjoys pickleball, hiking, travel, cooking, and time with loved ones.
